BITHGROUP Technologies has been awarded a contract as a subcontractor to Upp (upp.com)

BALTIMORE, MD—BITHGROUP Technologies, Inc. (bithgroup.com) has been awarded a contract as a subcontractor to UPP (UPP.com). Upp Technology, the leading provider of Public Health solutions will provide a centralized inventory management solution to manage the State of Maryland's healthcare inventory across all 24 of the local health departments and their associated Points of Dispensing (POD). In addition to managing the State's inventory and local stockpiles, the solution will also provide the ability to receive, stage, and distribute Strategic National Stockpile (SNS), Federal Managed inventories, and H1N1 vaccine and antivirals to the existing State POD network. Upp's software solution, irms|EM for Emergency Management, will enable the State of Maryland to view and control a centralized, single view of all inventory levels, status, and location in real-time, as well as manage inventory replenishments. BITHGROUP Technologies will be helping UPP conduct software training courses for Maryland’s Department of Health & Human Services.
